I noticed the index.html (the homepage.html as of 21/11/24) page was getting a little full with the website editing logs, so I made a dedicated page!
If this gets too long as well, I guess I'll just split it up into chunks of time? We'll cross that bridge when we get there.
I started today off by seeing I have 113 views on my website!
That's pretty cool, thanks guys! I'll try not to have it get to my head.
A few more housekeeping items:
Here I was, trying to edit my website and follow some W3Schools tutorials - the holy grail of learning HTML - when I come across the option to add audio!
I've been browsing neocities for a while and saw some incredibly cool sites with music playing, so I thought it would be fun. I was wrong.
You need to pay. You need to be a Neocities supporter. Listen Penelope I get it you need that bag. But I was so excited to add
some music :( One day, one day...
I fixed my organization concern from earlier! It turns out you can move things around, you just need to change their name to include the folder (ex. from crying-cat.gif to Images/crying-cat.gif). So that's one thing fixed! Another last organization thing - synced up my files on my computer with these Neocities ones! Ideally, I can update and edit these on an editor like PhoenixCode, adding images and links and whatever, then drag the files over to replace my Neocities ones!
In fact, that's what I just did to add these last two sentences!
Can you tell I learned about headers today? This is also inside a div (though you can't see that).
biggest worry right now is organization. Doesn't look easy to move files around in neocities, maybe I should use a 3rd party? Is there even a 3rd party?
